...... and so Manchester United struggle

Two things have to happen at Old Trafford, down Busby and  Ferguson's Ways.

One, the Glazer family and their cronies need to return the money they have trousered and return the club to a debt free situation. No more will Ferguson's skills cover their greed.

Two, though "Another Dave" (Moyes) may have been Fergie's choice, he has been unable to team up with "Puck Elf"  (Woodward), they may have other skills but they certainly don't have the skill to manage United on the field of play and the recruitment of the required class players. The backroom staff have two beginners (Neville and Giggs), basically "guffers/tea boys" and two of Everton's "experienced staff" who have probably never even won a game of "keep uppy". So let's start organising some P45s for the Moyes Mates.

Will we be in the relegation battle this year or will we be relegated? I think it will be a close thing and "Another Dave" may have to return to Uncle Kenwright!

Rooney's Latest

I use to be a great fan of Wayne Rooney, that is up to his latest carrying on at the end of last season.

Having read Rooney's latest outburst, blaming his loss of form, fitness etc. on SAF playing him out of position, because of RVP's signing, it is about time Rooney either put up or shut up.

The club is greater than the player!

Rooney is not the best striker in the UK, he's not even the best striker in Manchester, sorry to say.

There's more........

Puck Elf (Ed Woodward) is going to be busy into the new year.

Four and a bit months putting  in ever increasing bids for Christian Benteke. Four  and bit months of Paul Lambert replying Benteke is not for sale.

Feeling a bit miffed, Puck Elf announces a 'new' signing as he recalls and extends Bebe's contract.

"Another fine mess, Stanley"

"Manchester United made a mess of my first transfer window." admits Ed Woodward (Puck Elf) in the Mirror.

Hold on here, Puck Elf. Aren't you David Gill's replacement? Aren't you an ex-investment banker (Remember them, they got the whole planet in financial 5h1t!)? A fully paid up Glazer brown noser? Don't you realise you were in charge of this mess!

Man up and get your head out of your rectum and get things sorted Gillnam style!

I calculate you have from 31 December to 31 January 2014 to save your job.

PR steps up a gear

As mentioned yesterday, United are using their PR machine to rescue 'Puck Elf' (Woodward) and 'Another Dave' (Moyes), checkout Henry Winter in the Daily Telegraph today.

Keep digging PR team you have three months 5h1t to cover up.

Wednesday, September 4, 2013

I believe the phrase is "Stop digging..."

Looks like 'Puck Elf' (Ed Woodward) and 'Another Dave' (David Moyes) will ask the United PR Section to get them out of the 5h1t, or put the blame on Neville and Giggs (Millionaire back room staff.)

(The Puck Elf reference is from the Manchester Evening News, 60 years ago.)

It's on the way..........

Yes, being a supporter since 1948, I remember the glory of the forties, fifties and the sixties and when Sir Matt Busby retired.

After the inept performances of Woodward and Moyes, since their taking up office, both on and off the field, culminating in the embarrassment of the transfer window of 2013.

Is another 26 years of hurt on the way?

Come on Glazers sort out your staffing problems before it is too late.

Manchester United's Transfer Window

Latest breaking transfer news

Moyes' latest transfer bid has been rejected by mascot Fred the Red !!!!!!!!!!!

Fred commented, "I'm not having Puck Elf as my CEO.!"

There are also rumours that Gareth Bale has been sighted at Manchester Airport and because United couldn't afford to buy Gareth Bale, the Glazer family will sell United to Bale.

What now, 'Another Dave'?

After the latest Fabregas announcement, no contact with United, didn't intend leaving Barca, what have 'Another Dave' and his boss, 'Puck Elf', been doing over the last month? (For our younger followers, 'Puck Elf' was a Manchester Evening News cartoon character about 60 years ago.)

Ah, I see now saving money for the latest pay out to the Glazers.

Well done lads, sod the club and its supporters!

Another Dave, Another Transfer

Like many other people I am wondering what is happening at Manchester United.
Apparently the American Smurf believed SAF was replaceable by another long serving Scot. Unfortunately this Scot, 'Another Dave' has not really achieved anything in the bargain basement of the Premier League. I  think the theory is that he would spend less of the profits, more of the pie for the Smurfs.
'Another Dave', happy with his new job trots away on holiday, not before sacking United's Premiership winning coaching staff. The old coaches are replaced with a bargain lot 'Another Dave' rooted out at Poundlands, Liverpool.
Most of these were old cronies of 'Another Dave' so obviously had a similar winning record to their boss - Nowt!
The addition of the legend from the valleys looks to be a sugaring of the medicine for the rest of the squad.
After the recent pantomime of Thiaga, Fabregas and any other class continental, I suppose we can look forward to Moysie Class Signings -  Howard, Neville, Cahill, Pienar and Fellaini. I can hear them now, the American Smurfs laughing all the way to the bank!
A bit of deja vu from the seventies, remember it, Wilf?

Another 'Dave'

Following the appointment of the Prime Minister, David Cameron, 'Call me Dave', Manchester United have appointed 'Another Dave'. Another character following in the footsteps of 'Dave' (Rodney Trotter), 'Dave' (David the PM), and now 'Dave' (the Manchester United manager).

Now I have nothing against the name Dave, some of my relations and friends are named Dave. Unfortunately so are some plonkers!

Who in their right mind would sack a championship winning coaching staff and replace them with his second/third class mates?

It's Urgent I Return to England

So what was the real reason for Ed Woodward curtailing his tour with Manchester United? The given reason was to 'attend to transfer matters'.
Is anybody aware of any 'transfer matters', in or out of Old Trafford?

He left Australia a full four days before his schedule departure to attend to these urgent 'transfer matters'.

Maybe it was to check up on the sale of season tickets before he splashed out on some second rate, third division continental player, we don't need, on the last day of the transfer window.

Correct me, haven't the Glazers done this before?

Judges, Law and the Government

What the hell is going on in the legal and governmental circus' in that we cannot kick out of our country alleged criminals, in this case Abu Qatada, who have allegedly committed crimes in third party countries?

For the judge to infer that "he would not receive a fair trial in Jordan" is nonsense. (When does anybody receive a fair trial in any country? There are always disadvantages to one side or the other).

As the judge has been assured by the British/Jordanian governments that Abu Qatada will receive a fair trial, in Jordan, the judge has ignored this assurance and has made his decision in this case based on his own opinion. Do we need this judge's opinion or the Jordanian government's assurance?

Aba Qatada is achieving his political objective, not by winning his case to reside in the UK but in causing disruption in the relationship between the judiciary and the government, (a terrorist strategical aim)further undermining the public confidence in the judiciary and the government of our country.

Another example of the swing of the pendulum to the extreme, tarting again to political correctness and the not fit for purpose Human Rights Act.

Referendums II

"Must respect the referendum on the Falklands," so says "Call me Dave" today.

Well said PM, now can we have our referendum on Europe?

Or must our international political actions always have an oil element to induce this government to act?

Sunday, March 10, 2013

Referendums

Referendum on the Falklands, today, suits you 'Call me Dave' sir!

Referendum on Europe, after the next election, suits you 'Call me Dave' sir!

Fall of Human Rights & Theresa

Theresa May, "Call me Dave"'s wannabe successor, has stated the Posh Boys Party (PBP), aka the Conservative Party, will scrap the Human Rights Act, if they win the next election, to stop it interfering with the fight against crime and the control of immigration. Well said Theresa!

Since there are two years to the next election, why wait so long? If she wants to replace the Posh Boy (Son of Blair) let her put her money where her mouth is!

Come on Theresa, the country is totally fed up with the Human Rights Act, political correctness and the wobbly leadership of the Posh Boys.

Carlos Tevez driving?

I am amazed to see that Carlos Tevez, the Manchester City player, is still driving on our roads and streets and committing road offences.

Approximately four years ago he was detained for driving a vehicle which had incorrect darkened windows and it turned out that he did not have a current British driving licence. Last November 2012 he was banned from driving for six months, speeding offences in Morecambe and Crewe. Yesterday, still within his six month ban he was again arrested, in Macclesfield, driving while disqualified.

So, no current driving licence, driving while disqualified, I cannot see how he can legally be insuranced to drive, now or during the last four years. What if he has an accident, fatal or otherwise?

His illegal driving career has carried on far too long, isn't it about time the relevant authorities and his employers did something about his flaunting of our country's traffic laws? Throw the book at him!!

"Call me Dave's" latest waffle

Just as I struggle to concentrate on the content of the Sun and Star newspapers I also struggle to concentrate on the content of Posh Dave's speeches (I'm rubbish at Etonese!).

I'm not at odds with his speech today (yet) but if he can drop everything for such as the Algerian 'crisis', (Another attempt at political brownie points) why can he not expedite an historic making decision such as "in/out" of Europe forthwith instead of waiting 5 years and on condition he is re-elected?

As Jeremy Kyle would no doubt say, "Grow a pair, Posh Dave.", act now and stop pandering, send Cleggy back to the "LOTSW".

Friend of 'Dave' Intends To Impoverish Pensioners

So Nick Boles, Conservative MP, is a friend of Premier David Cameron. Whoopee for him! Or is he just a mouthpiece for 'Dave'?

Today Boles, (notice no title of 'Mr.', he still has not earned my respect, neither has 'Dave' really), announces he wants to means test the pensioner benefits. His reported tone seems to want us to believe these benefits are automatically heaped on pensioners as they reach qualifying ages. This is not true.

The benefits referred to are:
Winter Fuel Allowance;
Free Travel Pass;
Free TV Licence after 75.

As pensioners reach certain ages, they may apply for certain benefits, so it is up to each pensioner to ask himself/herself if they really need a particular benefit, then apply for it. Now, according to Bole, many finanancially well off Conservative supporters have been applying and receiving various benefits, notwithstanding their riches, and he wishes that to cease. Bully for Bole!

Let's hope he remembers to apply the cut off line at the right level and not include the not financially well off who need and deserve these benefits. We don't need ministerial policy statements saying, "The poor are protected."

It is particularly noticeable that 'Dave' does not want legislate on any of these benefits until 2015. Isn't that after the next election? Wouldn't want to lose the pensioner vote, would we, 'Dave'?

'Dave' clue Bole in before he embarrasses you and forces another u-turn.

Who owns our politicians/MPs?

Tax Evasion or Tax Avoidance?

Hmmm! To me there is no difference, either of these are used for the same end product - to limit the amount of tax paid to the HMRC. Basically they don't want to pay their fair share of society's financial demands.

They appear to be all the high earners, especially footballers, entertainers, company fat cats etc. I feel they should be included in the PAYE system and treated by HMRC the same as the man in the street. As part of society no one section should be treated advantageously.

So why does the government try to score political points by denouncing some individuals e.g Jimmy Carr and hiding behind principles (sic) by refusing to comment on others, i.e Gary Barlow? Doesn't take much reading between the lines, does it?

The current government boasts of their legislation to close down the aggressive tax avoidance but in realty they are only applying band aids (plasters) to haemorrhaging avoidance. They say that as HMRC close down one scheme another is rolled out.

Put them all on PAYE even a modified form of PAYE so avoidance or evasion becomes irrelevant.
